Board of Trustees

By Guam law, the responsibility for the operations of the Fund are vested in a Board of Trustees who shall be chosen in the following manner:

• Two (2) members shall be elected by the Fund members from among the active members of the Fund who have at least five (5) years total service credit as members of the Fund and who are currently employed by the government of Guam;
• Two (2) members shall be elected by the Fund members from among the roster of retirees; and
• Three (3) shall be appointed by I Maga’lahen Guåhan with the advice and consent of I Liheslaturan Guåhan. Two (2) of
  the I Maga’lahen Guåhan appointees shall be individuals who are not employed by nor retired from the government, and one (1) member of the appointees shall be a member of the classified service of the government of Guam.

The term of the office of the Board of Trustees shall be for five (5) years.
