For members under the Defined Benefit Plan, retirement checks are issued every 15th and end of the month. Checks may be mailed to your mailing address, or directly deposited into your bank account.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
In February 1998, the Retirement Fund discontinued new payments to third parties for Government of Guam retirees. As a result, the enactment of Public Law 24-193 established the statutory requirements to allow the Government of Guam Retirement Fund to pay third parties on behalf of retirees. As an additional services to the Government of Guam Retirment Fund, The Benefits Services Division is currently providing payment authorizations for retirees' and survivors' Pension Payroll and payments to third parties.
